Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Management: Oversee all police department operations, including staffing, budgeting, training, and resource allocation.

Community Policing: Build strong, collaborative relationships with residents by implementing effective community policing strategies.

Officer Development: Mentor and support department personnel, fostering a culture of professional growth, safety, and well-being.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term plans for the department, addressing the needs of a growing population and city infrastructure.

Collaboration: Partner with city officials, local organizations, and law enforcement agencies to address community concerns and enhance public safety.

Compliance: Ensure the department operates in full compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits

Competitive salary up to $138,600, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 for qualified candidates relocating from over 60 miles away.
